Forge Motorsport Toyota GR Corolla Intercooler FMINT34
The Forge Motorsport FMINT34 Toyota GR Corolla Intercooler is a high-performance cooling upgrade developed specifically for the turbocharged GR Corolla platform.
Designed to provide significantly greater cooling capacity than the factory intercooler, FMINT34 helps reduce intake air temperatures, improve turbo response and maintain more consistent engine performance during spirited road driving, track use and tuned applications.
Forge developed the intercooler using extensive vehicle measurements, CFD modelling and real-world testing to maximise the available space behind the original GR Corolla bumper while maintaining compatibility with the factory cooling system.
Improved Cooling for the Toyota GR Corolla
Turbocharged engines generate considerable heat, particularly during repeated acceleration or sustained high-load driving. As intake temperatures increase, engine management may reduce ignition timing or boost to protect the engine.
The larger Forge intercooler core provides substantially more cooling capacity than the original Toyota unit.
Forge reports an increase of more than 100% in internal intercooler volume together with an increase of over 40% in frontal area, allowing more charge air to pass through a considerably larger cooling surface.
Testing also recorded intake temperature reductions of up to 20°C compared with the standard intercooler.
Dyno-Proven Performance
Forge Motorsport reports dyno-tested improvements of approximately:
+10 bhp
+10 lb-ft torque
The improved thermal efficiency also helps produce a smoother and more consistent power curve, particularly when the vehicle is subjected to repeated acceleration where the factory intercooler can become heat soaked.

Race-Spec Tube-and-Fin Core
At the heart of FMINT34 is a race-specification tube-and-fin intercooler core selected to provide an effective balance between cooling efficiency, airflow and pressure drop.
The core is combined with high-flow cast end tanks designed to improve airflow transition across the intercooler.
This helps maximise cooling performance without unnecessarily restricting airflow through the charge system.
Larger 60 mm Inlet and Outlet
Forge enlarged the intercooler’s hot-side and cold-side connections to approximately 60 mm to maximise airflow through the system.
Matching silicone boost hoses and the necessary fitting hardware are supplied with the intercooler, allowing it to connect correctly to the surrounding factory components.
Designed for Straightforward Installation
FMINT34 has been engineered to utilise the original intercooler position.
Forge developed dedicated spacers that locate behind the GR Corolla’s factory crash bar, allowing the larger intercooler core to fit behind the original bumper without cutting the vehicle.
This also means the modification remains reversible if the vehicle needs to be returned to its original configuration.
