The Eventuri V3 Oversized Carbon Turbo Tube is a performance-focused turbo inlet upgrade developed specifically for the Honda Civic Type R FK8.
Designed to reduce restriction between the intake system and turbocharger, the V3 tube features significantly greater internal volume than the original Honda turbo inlet while maintaining a smooth airflow path through its one-piece prepreg carbon-fibre construction.

Important: The EVE-FK8V3-CHG-UPG tube-only version is not intended as a complete installation kit for vehicles still using the factory Honda turbo tube.
A major difference between the Eventuri V3 turbo tube and the original Honda inlet is internal volume.
The Eventuri V3 tube starts at approximately:

At its widest section, Eventuri states the V3 design provides approximately 96% more cross-sectional area than the OEM turbo tube.
This substantially reduces restriction in the airflow path feeding the turbocharger.
Reducing inlet restriction allows the turbocharger to draw air more efficiently.
Eventuri reports that the larger V3 tube allows the turbo to reach peak boost sooner while reducing the load required to maintain boost.
This can be particularly beneficial during lower-RPM acceleration, where improved spool and response may be felt more clearly than a simple headline peak-power figure suggests.
The benefits become increasingly relevant on modified FK8 Type Rs where the turbocharger is demanding greater airflow.
Eventuri independently tested the V3 turbo tube at Dream Automotive using an FK8 with Stage 1 calibration.
With the same ECU map and intake system used for back-to-back testing, Eventuri reports:
Peak gain: approximately 9 hp
Peak torque gain: approximately 9 ft-lb
Gain below 4,000 rpm: up to approximately 15 hp
Torque gain below 4,000 rpm: up to approximately 18 ft-lb
Eventuri reports that the previous V1 tube produced approximately 4 hp over the OEM tube at peak RPM, while the V3 generated a further approximately 5 hp at peak RPM.
These figures are manufacturer test results and are not guaranteed for every vehicle. Actual gains depend on ECU calibration, intake system, exhaust system, turbo specification, ambient conditions and supporting modifications.
The Eventuri V3 Turbo Tube is manufactured as a one-piece prepreg carbon-fibre component.
Using carbon fibre enables Eventuri to create a smooth internal surface and gradual curvature through the inlet path.
This contrasts with the original cast-aluminium Honda tube, which has a comparatively rough internal surface.
A smoother transition helps reduce unnecessary turbulence as air travels towards the turbocharger.
The turbocharger is one of the hottest components in the FK8 engine bay.
Rather than attaching the carbon tube directly to the turbocharger, Eventuri uses a precision-machined turbo flange connected through a silicone coupler incorporating a thermal spacer.
This separates the carbon elbow from direct contact with the hot turbo housing.
Carbon fibre also has lower through-wall thermal conductivity than the standard aluminium inlet tube, helping minimise heat conduction into the turbo inlet tract.
The Eventuri V3 turbo tube can be used on standard-output FK8 Type Rs, but its increased airflow capacity becomes increasingly useful as engine airflow demand rises.
