The Xtreme Performance Extra Heavy Duty Sprung Ceramic Clutch Kit with Single Mass Flywheel Conversion /-1R has been designed specifically for motorsport. It combines a sprung ceramic friction disc with an extra heavy duty pressure plate that delivers even greater clamp force, giving higher torque capacity and better resistance to clutch slip under the extreme loads of competition use.
The ceramic disc offers high heat resistance for repeated hard launches and sustained high temperatures, while the sprung hub helps reduce shock loading on the driveline. This makes the /-1R kit a strong choice for circuit, rally, drift and drag cars, including builds that retain the factory transmission.
This version includes a single mass flywheel that replaces the OE dual mass flywheel. The conversion provides a more durable, easier-to-maintain setup and avoids the wear and costly failures typical of dual mass flywheels, which makes it a popular upgrade for modified vehicles and vehicles that are driven hard.
