Camshaft Specifications and Requirements
The Stage 004 Cams are aggressive race-spec components and require a fully upgraded valve train for safe and reliable operation.
- Material: All-New 8620 Billet Steel
- Intake Lobe Specs:
- Lift: 14.5 mm
- Duration @ 0.050″: 0.275″
- Exhaust Lobe Specs:
- Lift: 13.2 mm
- Duration @ 0.050″: 0.272″
Required Upgrades (Critical):
Valve Train: Due to the extreme lift and duration, an upgraded valve spring and retainer combination is mandatory. We offer the Supertech SPR-H1021D 92lb Spring (Optional combo available) to safely handle the aggressive profiles.
Installation Torque Specifications
Ensure precise and reliable installation by adhering to the following factory torque values:
- Intake Cam Gear Bolt: 83 lb-ft
- Exhaust Cam Gear Bolt: 51 lb-ft
- Pulse Plates: 29 lb-ft
