Product Overview
Manufactured by EBC Brakes, the D Series Premium OE Replacement Brake Discs (part number D1624) are precision-engineered front rotors designed for Hyundai Santa Fe 2nd generation models from 2006 to 2010. These brake discs offer reliable stopping power and durability, making them an excellent choice for maintaining or restoring your vehicle's braking performance.
These EBC D Series Brake Discs are vented rotors crafted from grey cast iron, providing effective heat dissipation during braking. Their vented design helps prevent brake fade by allowing air to circulate between the disc surfaces, maintaining optimal operating temperatures. Manufactured primarily from EU-sourced castings and precision machined in Europe, each disc undergoes a stringent quality control process including individual runout inspection to ensure zero distortion out of the box.
Performance & Benefits of EBC D Series Brake Discs
The EBC D Series Brake Discs deliver consistent braking performance with a focus on durability and reliability. Their vented construction improves cooling efficiency, reducing the risk of overheating during everyday driving. The discs’ balanced design minimises vibrations and noise, contributing to smoother braking feel and enhanced driver confidence. Backed by a 10,000-mile or 6-month warranty, these rotors offer a cost-effective alternative to original equipment parts without compromising quality.
Application & Installation of EBC D Series Brake Discs
Specifically designed for the front axle of Hyundai Santa Fe 2nd generation vehicles equipped with 2.2 turbo diesel or 2.7 petrol engines (model years 2006–2010), these EBC D Series Brake Discs are a direct replacement for worn or damaged rotors. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician to ensure proper fitment and braking system integrity. EBC recommends fitting new brake pads alongside these discs to achieve optimal braking performance and longevity.
