The factory gearshift mechanism is designed to provide comfortable everyday operation, but performance-focused drivers often prefer a shorter and more direct gear change. The Forge FMVWQS replaces the original gearbox-mounted shifter mechanism and allows the amount of front-to-back gear lever movement to be adjusted to suit the driver’s preference.

The FMVWQS features an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism, allowing the shift throw to be tailored from approximately the standard factory movement through to around a 40% reduction in gearshift throw.
