Forge Motorsport FMVWQS Adjustable Quick Shifter
Improve the feel and speed of gear changes with the Forge Motorsport FMVWQS Adjustable Quick Shifter, developed for compatible Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda models using selected VAG 6-speed transverse manual gearboxes.
The factory gearshift mechanism is designed to provide comfortable everyday operation, but performance-focused drivers often prefer a shorter and more direct gear change. The Forge FMVWQS replaces the original gearbox-mounted shifter mechanism and allows the amount of front-to-back gear lever movement to be adjusted to suit the driver’s preference.
Adjustable Shorter Gearshift
The FMVWQS features an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism, allowing the shift throw to be tailored from approximately the standard factory movement through to around a 40% reduction in gearshift throw.
This allows you to choose a more subtle reduction for road use or a considerably shorter movement for a more performance-oriented driving experience.
Designed for VAG 6-Speed Manual Gearboxes
Forge Motorsport designed the FMVWQS for VAG vehicles equipped with compatible MQ350, 02M and 02Q 6-speed transverse manual gearboxes.
The product is suitable for a wide range of performance models across the Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda ranges. Because several different gear selector cable arrangements were used by the VAG Group, Forge supplies multiple attachment fittings with the kit.

The kit includes an 8.4mm pin, 10mm pin and ball-style pin, helping accommodate the different selector cable configurations found across compatible applications.
