Xtreme Performance – Extra Heavy Duty Sprung Ceramic Kit with Flywheel /-1R
Recommended for: motorsport applications such as circuit racing, rally, drifting and drag racing, where maximum clamp force and torque capacity are required.
The Xtreme Performance Extra Heavy Duty Sprung Ceramic Clutch Kit with Flywheel /-1R has been designed specifically for motorsport. It combines a sprung ceramic friction disc with an extra heavy duty pressure plate that delivers even greater clamp force, giving higher torque capacity and better resistance to clutch slip under the extreme loads of competition use.
The ceramic disc offers high heat resistance for repeated hard launches and sustained high temperatures, while the sprung hub helps reduce shock loading on the driveline. This makes the /-1R kit a strong choice for circuit, rally, drift and drag cars, including builds that retain the factory transmission.
This version is supplied with a flywheel, so the clutch and flywheel can be replaced together in one installation. This gives a fresh, matched setup and saves the time and cost of resurfacing or replacing the old flywheel separately.
Why choose the /-1R over the /-1B?
Choose the /-1R kit if the vehicle is built for competition, has significant power increases, or needs more torque capacity than the standard /-1B kit can offer. Both kits use a sprung ceramic disc, but the /-1R pairs it with an extra heavy duty pressure plate and much higher clamp force for maximised torque capacity and better resistance to clutch slip in circuit, rally, drift and drag use.
