Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Golf R MK7 and MK7.5, this performance exhaust system combines high-flow 3-inch stainless-steel pipework with XFORCE’s VAREX adjustable valve technology. The result is an exhaust system that allows you to enjoy a more aggressive performance sound while retaining the ability to adjust the exhaust character when required.
The system is manufactured using 304-grade stainless steel and features a brushed stainless-steel finish, mandrel-bent pipework and precision TIG-welded construction. XFORCE specifies a 3-inch exhaust diameter, providing a high-flow exhaust path for the Golf R’s 2.0-litre turbocharged engine.
At the rear, the system uses a VAREX valved muffler, allowing the exhaust sound to be adjusted. The system also incorporates a Hot Dog centre resonator and drone-reduction pipe, helping to balance the aggressive exhaust character with improved everyday drivability.
The system is finished with quad 4-inch polished stainless-steel exhaust tips, giving the Golf R a more aggressive and motorsport-inspired appearance.
VAREX SmartBox Control
The ESVGR7HVKCS includes XFORCE’s SmartBox and drive-mode harness, allowing electronic control of the VAREX exhaust valve.
XFORCE states that when paired with the SmartBox and drive-mode cable, the system can integrate with the vehicle’s existing drive modes, allowing the exhaust sound to be adjusted according to driving conditions and driver preference.
