Product Overview
Manufactured by EBC Brakes, the Stainless Braided Brake Line Set BLA1470-4L is designed specifically for the Honda Prelude BB models from 1997 to 2001. This high-quality brake line kit offers enhanced braking performance and improved pedal feel, making it an essential upgrade for drivers seeking greater control and reliability.
This EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Line Set replaces the original rubber brake hoses with premium stainless steel braided lines. The kit includes four brake lines that match the original routing and fitment exactly, ensuring a direct replacement without modifications. These brake lines are engineered to withstand higher pressures and resist expansion, delivering a firmer and more consistent brake pedal response under demanding conditions.
EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Lines Performance & Benefits
The EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Lines feature a stainless steel braid construction that provides superior durability compared to standard rubber hoses, reducing the risk of swelling or bursting during heavy braking. This results in enhanced brake modulation and a more responsive pedal feel, which is particularly beneficial for spirited driving or track use. Each line undergoes rigorous pressure testing to guarantee leak-free performance. Additionally, the EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Lines meet stringent certifications including TÜV, DOT, ADR, and ISO, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Application & Installation of EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Lines
The EBC Brakes Stainless Braided Brake Lines are confirmed to fit Honda Prelude BB models equipped with 2.0L and 2.2L petrol engines produced between 1997 and 2001. The kit is a direct replacement for the original Akebono front and rear caliper brake lines, maintaining the factory routing and connection points. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct fitting and brake system integrity. No modifications or universal fittings are required, making installation straightforward for experienced technicians.
