High-Flow Performance Design
Skunk2 manufactures its Pro Series throttle bodies from forged 6061-T6 billet aluminium, which is CNC machined to achieve an accurate throttle bore and precise component fit. A precision-machined brass throttle plate and sealed ball bearings help provide smooth throttle operation while the anodised exterior improves corrosion resistance and durability.
The larger bore allows increased airflow compared with restrictive factory throttle bodies, making this upgrade particularly suitable for engines fitted with performance intake manifolds, upgraded cylinder heads, performance camshafts, high-flow intake systems, exhaust upgrades, turbochargers or superchargers.

The 68mm throttle body is a popular upgrade for mildly to substantially modified engines where improved airflow is required without moving immediately to the largest available bore.
The 70mm throttle body provides additional airflow capacity for more extensively modified naturally aspirated engines and forced-induction builds.
The 74mm throttle body is aimed at higher-flow applications where the intake manifold and engine combination have been prepared to take advantage of the larger opening.
Built for Honda Performance Engines
Depending on the vehicle, engine and intake manifold combination, the Skunk2 Pro Series throttle body can be used with Honda engines including B16, B17, B18, B20, D15, D16, F20, F22, F23, H22 and H23 families.
Applications therefore include a wide selection of performance Honda and Acura platforms, including variants of the Honda Civic, CRX, Del Sol, Accord, Prelude, S2000 and Acura/Honda Integra. Exact compatibility varies according to engine, intake manifold, bore size and vehicle specification.
Designed to Complement Performance Intake Manifolds
A larger throttle body works best when the complete intake system is capable of taking advantage of the additional bore area. Skunk2 Pro Series throttle bodies can be paired with compatible Skunk2 performance intake manifolds and suitable aftermarket intake manifolds.
Where the intake manifold opening is smaller than the selected throttle-body bore, port matching may be required. Installing a large-bore throttle body against a substantially smaller manifold opening can create an airflow step and limit the potential benefit of the upgrade.

Important Fitment & Installation Information
Please check your exact engine and intake manifold before ordering. Due to the increased bore diameter, some installations require the intake manifold throttle-body flange to be opened or port matched to the selected throttle body.
Certain D-Series engines using down-flow intake manifolds are not directly compatible and may require a Skunk2 Pro Series or similar compatible intake manifold. Earlier D-Series manifold configurations also have specific restrictions.
These Pro Series applications are generally specified for manual-transmission applications. Compatibility should therefore be confirmed using the vehicle, engine code, transmission and intake manifold rather than purchasing solely by vehicle model.

• Skunk2 states these Pro Series B/D/F/H throttle bodies are for manual-transmission applications.
